# DeskPaw Memory Development Rules

|
- Keep this module independent from `deskpaw-agent`; integration uses the local JSON-line socket protocol.
|
|
- SQLite is the authority. Markdown bundle files are human-readable projections, not a second source of truth.
|
|
- Never store credentials, hidden reasoning, or unbounded raw tool output as memory.
|
|
- Memory service failure must not stop the device agent from accepting or executing tasks.
|
|
- Run `npm test` after code changes. Do not publish or push unless the user asks.
|
